:bulletblack:Received a whole lot of new gadgets for my Artistic needs for Christmas, so you may be seeing some new mediums from me (not that my pencil art was bad or anything). This post will be dedicated to a lot of questions I've been receiving, so I thought I'd just put it as a journal.

:bulletwhite:So what have you been up to AMG?
:bulletblack:As you may have noticed, I haven't been posting as much artwork as I use to (until recently). Well instead of drawing I have set my sites on writing!

:bulletwhite:Writing what?
:bulletblack:A story (DUH). I've spent my ENTIRE time on drawing everybody's OC for points. Not that it's boring or anything, I enjoy learning their stories and changing their designs to fit my style.  After drawing that many, it got me thinking... why don't I have my own OC(s)?. It appears that everybody here has their own OC/story but me
:bulletblack:I didn't do anything at first, I just had it in the back of my head for the LONGEST time.  While wasting away at school I decided to doodle/sketch instead of pay attention in Spanish. Then BAM!, characters and stories came to mind. Lately I've been reading a lot (partly because I spend an hour on the transit bus).  Who would've known that one second of pure imagination; where I am not over-thinking a math problem or rhetorically analyzing a speech; would lead to a story of my own. Yay! Finally a character of my own. But he can't be alone, he needs friends and enemies to build character! I thought. SO I scribbled more stuff down (did I mention that this is all on the cover of my Spanish text book?).
:bulletblack: I spent all  day writing down ideas in fear of forgetting it all by the time I got home. Well long story short, I have seven chapters,  unedited, unseen, and ready for human eyes to see and edit for me.

:bulletwhite:So why should we know about this?
:bulletblack:Recently I have posted a poll on if anybody would like to peer edit it for me. Most didn't answer the poll and went straight to noting me (thanks for making me look stupid). Just wanted to give a heads up that I can still share the document with somebody.

:bulletwhite:Will we ever get to see some art of your chracters?
:bulletblack: Cool your chiz man, story isn't even finalized (I may just scrap the whole thing, but keep the gorgeous characters). But If you really want I could post them later.

:bulletwhite:What is your current Fandom this season?
:bulletblack:Most of my followers are here because of:
a) School Rumble fan art
b) Adventure Time fan art
c) Kick ass pencil commissions
d) because I gave them a llama
Well...Since I am mostly done with my commissions, I have resolved to return to my fan art craze and have recently been posting fan art for School Rumble (Eri X Harima!!!) and for...What Time It It? ADVENTURE TIME!. So look forward to that!

New name, new Me!..or is it?

:bulletgreen::bulletgreen::bulletgreen:If you haven't realized I changed my username from Sukuru-Ranburu to Ay-My-Gulay! That is BIG difference from my previous username. You may wonder, why THAT name? Well, I originally joined DevArt to share my fan art of School Rumble. Hence the username Sukuru-Ranburu. Sounds weird right? Well say each part slowly and maybe you'll hear the "genius" behind the name su-ku-ru-ran-bu-ru. Alright, enough of that. Time went by and my obsession over School Rumble went with it (or did it?). I still crave to a better ending in replacement for the rapid finish (Eri X Harima ferr days!!!). I found myself doing commissions, and you know what? With every commission I grew better and better as an artist. for those of you that I have commissioned a couple times, you can definitely see a difference in my style. My faithful watchers can vouch for me as well. It's been one crazy roller coaster ride. I started out as an anime artist, now I am veering more to semi-realistic art (specifically portraits/Head shots). So I thought to myself,'Huh, my art has really changed a lot since I first made my account' and you know what? With growth comes changes so I decided to change my username to something more suitable for my personality (if you are Filipino you would know what it means). It's a bit random, but it is catchy (ay-my-goo-lye). There is a lot more to come! Once I get all my commissions done you will see a whole lot of change coming to my page as I develop into a full-on DevArt member!
